Recently I was longing for a vintage sundress with bows or ties on the shoulder to wear this summer, but was hesitant to add yet another dress to my wardrobe. And then I saw it: Maison Fleur Patterns 1301, a vintage influenced summer top pattern. Parfait!

I can't wait to make all the views. Each one is unique enough that it will look like a new pattern. And the cover art is right up my vintage alley!
I had some difficulty printing the pdf, but I emailed Fleur, and she promptly emailed me back. I needed to open it on a computer with Adobe Photoshop. As soon as I opened it in Adobe I was good to go. I loved the feature that you only need to print the size you want.
The pattern sewed up beautifully! I printed a size ten. It fits loosely, which is great for a summer top, so I didn't alter it down, but for a more fitted look I will make the size eight. The sizing is a little unique, as I wear an RTW 6-8.

Because my fabric is a sheer cotton blend, I elected to put in a solid white full lining as opposed to a facing.
I also inserted a lovely custom tag. A source and product review for the tag is upcoming.
Such a happy, fun, summer top to sew, and a fabulous pattern!
