Here it is:  my Spring for Cotton dress!
The self-covered belt has a butterscotch bakelite belt buckle.

Each side has a big and beautiful patch pocket.
I like the back neckline which resembles a modern racerback!
I also anticipate wearing it without the belt boho style, especially over a swimsuit.
The pattern has really interesting underarm pieces that are similar to half a gusset.  I wasn't sure I would like the unfitted sack dress style but I do.  I am extremely happy with everything about this pattern and would definitely make it again!  The armholes are finished with self bias tape, so I even got to get out my bias tape ironing machine.
The first time I wore it I got quite a few compliments.  I poofed it out with petticoats for a more vintage look.  Here is the pattern again in case you missed my last post:
I want to make the blue version with the neck scarf next. One of the benefits of this unstructured style is that I think it would look lovely on ladies of all different figure types.

Thank you so much to Rochelle and her crew for sponsoring the sewalong.  You can visit her and get a link to the vintage cotton fabulousness at luckylucille.com.

I sprang for cotton!
